Microbiome & Nutrition

The microbiome is the entire community of trillions of microorganisms living in the gut, which play a decisive role in digestion, immunity, metabolism and even mood. Modern microbiome analysis reveals the diversity and balance of this ecosystem.

Overview

In light of the results, a prebiotic, probiotic and personalised nutrition plan is created; chronic inflammation, weight management and digestive complaints are addressed in a multifaceted way.

Who Is It For?

  • Those with complaints of bloating, gas or irregular bowel movements
  • Individuals whose gut balance has been disrupted after antibiotics
  • Patients with an autoimmune or chronic inflammatory condition
  • Difficult cases in weight management
  • Those who want gut optimisation for general health and longevity

Treatment Process

  1. 1

    Microbiome Test

A comprehensive DNA-based microbiome analysis is performed from a stool sample.

  2. 2

    Nutrition and Lifestyle Analysis

Current nutrition, sleep, stress and exercise are assessed.

  3. 3

    Individual Plan

Pre- and probiotics, fibre sources and a personalised nutrition plan are created.

  4. 4

    Reassessment

After 8 to 12 weeks, the microbiome balance and clinical response are reassessed.

Recovery & Aftercare

Treatment proceeds within daily life; improvement in symptoms generally becomes apparent within 4 to 8 weeks.

Hospital Stay

No admission needed

Recovery Time

4–8 weeks

Follow-up

8–12 weeks

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the same probiotic given to everyone?

No. The choice of an effective probiotic varies according to microbiome analysis, clinical complaints and accompanying conditions. A 'one-size-fits-all probiotic' approach is inadequate in modern practice.

Is a gluten-free or lactose-free diet necessary for everyone?

No. These restrictions are planned only in cases of proven intolerance or sensitivity. Unnecessary restriction can reduce microbiome diversity.

Is the microbiome more important than genetics?

Unlike genetics, the microbiome can largely be changed. Nutrition, sleep and antibiotic use can shape the microbiome in a short time.

Do you perform FMT (microbiota transplant)?

FMT is performed only for specific indications, such as resistant C. difficile infection, and in authorised centres. It is not an approved indication for general use.
